I guess I do now! Apparently moving to the other side of the world necessitates starting a blog. I was going to call it "Adventures in China" but in three or four years who knows where our little family will call home. For now, "Never Needed A Blog Before" will chronicle our experiences in Shenyang. I am not naturally a writer so there is a good chance you will see more pictures than funny stories or anecdotes, but I will do my best.

Back To Reality
Hello all! I hope you had a wonderful summer. The boys and I arrived back in Shenyang last night after a fantastic eighty days of fun. It is now 1:30 in the morning and all three of us are still awake. Let me tell you that so far the time adjustment is not going well and we are reacting the opposite of what we normally do. Perhaps it's because of the flight schedule we had this trip. Whatever the reason, I am in no condition to tell stories tonight. I will be back soon with photos and details of our summer adventures. G'night!

Jan we loved having you guys home for the summer and we miss you already. I imagine Tim is very happy to have his family back.
ReplyDeletePaige and Kait are here for three days and they along with Kenzie were wishing the boys were still here to play with them.
You must be exhausted and hopefully you will soon adjust and get back on track.
I am going back to Oromocto with Trish and the girls on Friday and coming back on Monday with Stevie, Hayden and Donna. They are coming up on Sunday for the Pro Stock race.
Ellery and Sheryl are going over to PEI on Thursday for Stef's graduation. They will be gone until Friday afternoon so Jerry will be staying with us.
Well Jan it is almost my bed time so must get ready, don't want to miss out on my sleeping time. You guys have a great day, hugs for the little boys and hi to Tim. Take care
Hi Jan, you slipped in a post and I am just reading it now. Glad you had a safe trip back to China. I am sure you were all exhausted and Tim was excited to have you all back.
ReplyDeleteWhen Jerry and I go for a walk up Old Stewiacke Road it is very very quiet. I miss my 'squeezie hug' from Ryan and my sweet smile from Nick. But I know their Dad will be catching up on all of his hugs. It was so much fun to have you guys home and I really enjoyed my visits with the boys. I am glad Paige and Kait live so close now so that they can visit often. I had my sister Trish's kids also for the past 2 weekends over for visits so that is good. Kids definitely keep us young!
Stefan had a wonderful graduation, except the weather was chilly, windy, and damp but he is glad his time in PEI is over and now he just needs to get work. Ellery will be keeping him busy here at the rink for a while cause there is lots to do to get ready for the ice.
I will be watching closely for your next blog and hopefully you get rested up soon. I can't imagine traveling that far. I would be done in.
Love to you all and hopefully we can talk on SKYPE or Facetime! Bye for now!
