So much for the relaxing day! There is nothing relaxing about saying goodbye to all the people you love and see on a daily or weekly basis; but, we did it. There were a few tears, of course, but I thought once we left it was done. Then we went to Tim Horton's and while Tim was in getting the kids some ice cream Nick sighed and I asked him what was wrong. He started crying and said he was going to miss Brett, his big cousin. I crawled into the back of the van and hugged him and onceTim showed up with the cake batter flavored ice cream he cheered up a bit.
So here we sit in the Chocolate Lake hotel in our jammies watching television. We have eaten, Ryan had a bath and I am ready for bed. It is miserable outside but we are quite cosy in our room.
Tomorrow we fly to Toronto and spend a night there. Till then!
