I was going to write a nice blog tonight with lots of pictures from the last two days until I went searching for Mom's camera and couldn't find it. The battery on mine died yesterday so we had to use hers. Today we used mine but since I cannot do things out of order (I'm not OCD, just a little neurotic) the pictures will have to wait. Then I thought I would just post a few videos from the past week, including one of some pretty cool kites, but it was going to take 80 minutes to upload a one minute film, so screw that! You guys are just going to have to use your wonderful imaginations to entertain yourselves today. Have fun with that!

Thanks Jan for the comments. We have been spoiled with all the wonderful photos you have been posting recently and will hang tight until the next ones arrive! Darlene and I went swimming this morning and then picked Ellery up some terry cloth for the Zamboni. It is going to be weird swimming by myself for the next 2 weeks while she is in Ontario. I must tell you the ice looks amazing at the rink. I think you will see a difference with the clearness of it when you come home. Ellery is using more purified water. It has most of the minerals removed with his new equipment just installed this summer. We can really see the difference! Well I am all finished my rink responsibilities with the painting, putting the ice in so I guess I have to to housework now. I am going tonight to get my membership for the gym plus I will soon be starting hockey cards and photos so I have lots to do. Will be watching for your next post. Have a great day and bye for now.
ReplyDeleteJan I think with all the wonderful comments and beautiful photos we have been getting you deserve a well earned break from blogging!! I too will be awaiting patiently. I had a busy day today, went swimming this morning, made two batches of crab apple jelly, cleaned out the frig , made biscuits for strawberry shortcake, had my nails done, did up the deposit for Carl to take to the bank tomorrow, went to my appointment with Bev, put the curtains back up in the dressing rooms and now I am doing laundry. I still have to pack and go on line to pay some bills, then it will be time to go to bed, lately my favorite place to be.

Donna and I fly out at 11:15 tomorrow (Wednesday) if our flight isn't cancelled. We are supposed to get heavy rain and high winds tonight and tomorrow. Oh well, there are some things I can't control.
Must go and print off our boarding passes and get those bills paid.
